A local business. A real conversation.
Meet Current Auto Tech.
Automotive technology is personal. It’s your car, your daily drive, and your next upgrade.
Meet Jacob.
Jacob graduated from BYU with a degree in economics and strategic management. His interest in automotive technology began while working on older Land Rovers, where adding a CarPlay radio brought a modern touch to a familiar vehicle.
He started installing radios in cars he was fixing up, then expanded into a wide range of vehicles. He has now installed hundreds of radios.
Hands-on experience with the whole vehicle.
Alongside electrical work, Jacob’s experience includes rebuilding engines, drivetrain repairs, and interior work. That background informs how he approaches wiring, dashboard access, and fitting new electronics into an existing vehicle. Current Auto Tech focuses on mobile automotive electronics installation.
Work directly with Jacob.
Current Auto Tech is a local mobile automotive electronics installation business serving Salt Lake County and Utah County. When you request a quote, Jacob will discuss your vehicle, equipment, and installation with you before scheduling.
Help before you buy.
You don’t need to have every part figured out to start the conversation. Share the upgrade you want and the vehicle you drive. In many cases, we help identify suitable equipment and provide a link for you to purchase it yourself.
Installation where you are.
We focus on CarPlay and radio upgrades, speakers, backup cameras, and dash cams. We bring installation to your location and confirm the work and quote with you first.
